I thought this was really interesting, Ruth Bader Ginsberg using neck pieces to indicate her political stance with the rest of the court. The dissent collar is especially nice! To me, I like the fact, well, she cannot wear the traditional button down shirt and tie under the judicial gowns, so instead wears something to distinguish herself in both a feminine but regal way.

I don't know the rules about judicial wear, but I assume something would have been said if not allowed. Any attorneys know more? I know in general judges are supposed to dress "soberly"; attorneys as well
