The frequent inspections kept me from going with them. I want my ring covered with no conditions. I went with Chubb. They will accept a sales receipt or the jewelers insurance appraisal if the item is under something like $50,000.
Many of our clients use them and love them. They do make you get your ring reevaluated every three years I believe so it is not as bad as you currently think.Date: 6/6/2008 11:37:29 AM

from looking at their website i need to have an apprasail done.. how do i go about getting one? who would i contact and does that cost money?
what would happen if i just got a policy in few weeks lost the ring... would they just give me the money for the full value? how would they know if it was even lost in the first place?
lastly.. i think they require periodic apprasiails/evaluations done of the ring.. so i wont just be payin the cost of the annual premium with jewelry mutual but also payin for these evaulations....
