Hey everyone,
this forum is a blessing! Anyway, I''ve begun the task of searching for an E-ring. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with any jewelers in the philadelphia area where I''m not going to get ripped off.

Today I looked at a 1.29 kt, H color, ideal cut, vs2 for $4800. I didn''t get any of the other details (please don''t yell at me!), but I guess I''m looking for a jeweler, or if anyone has any suggestions for a 1.25 kt in the $4500 range, I''d appreciate it! Thanks for the help

For price competition, nothing beats Jeweler''s Row in cc Philly. In the nearby suburbs there is plenty of good competition, too. You don''t have to go into town to find a good price or an honest deal. Most jewelers recognize the profit squeeze of the Internet. Shop on Pricescope and do your homework. You can then be an effective shopper anywhere.

I know about Robbins Diamonds at 8th Street and Walnut.

DiamondGirlHH; What do you know about this firm? Consumers can tell about their experiences and give their recommondations where I can''t. I am sure others would like to know more about your experience.

Hey there Oldminer,

I have been to the Robbins Diamonds few times when I was in the Philly area.

They have a really large inventory of designer collections and certified diamonds. I always thought that their customer service was excellent and they take their time if you want to sit down and talk about options, prices, etc.

It''s been about a year or so since I was there last. I was in the market for a platinum wedding band and they carried both of my favorite designers; Verragio and Tacori. I think one of the owners, Jerry, came over and talked to us quite a while about the designers and their features.

I always refer them to my friends to them when they are in Philly.
