jeweler in NYC to fix my prongs

I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a jeweler in NYC that can fix my e-ring prongs. They aren't broken I just don't really like how thick/chunky/obvious they are. I would like them more to be a claw prong as opposed to what is currently is which is rounded at the tip and somewhat bulbous.

First, is it possible to get this change made, and if so, who would you trust? I also don't want to spend a fortune to have it done.

It's really difficult to find a good bench, isn't it? The good ones are worth their weight in gold!

A friend of mine and I have been very happy with Jonathan at JI International, 66 W 47th Street. Just tell him a couple of his repeat customers recommended his benchman who does claw prongs. He set my spinel in this setting, and you can see his prong handiwork. Feel free to take the pic with you, if you like.
