Jeff Cooper vs. Ritani

Hi All,

I am a newbie to the site, but have enjoyed "lurking around" and seeing all the interesting info that gets passed around. Thanks for that! My FF and I have been doing some ring shopping lately and I have narrowed my search down to 2 designers. Now, I am trying to decide which designer/ring to go with. The one ring I am in considering is by Ritani ("Classic", Royal Crown) and by Jeff Cooper (one from the "Eternal collection" of one from the "Nicole" collection). I have recently seen some very concerning posts about how Ritani is changing designs and not delivering what they were supposed to, but I know they have a great reputation. I haven''t really seen any bad stuff about Jeff Cooper.

Can anyone in the biz or just well versed in the designers give me an idea of which desginer has a better reputation or is better on the customer service end should anything (God forbid) go wrong?

I believe Ritani changed the endless love because of durability issues. Aside from that I don''t remember any other problems, or any problems with settings other than the endless love. I don''t know what your plan is for purchasing a setting, but Pearlman''s carries both designers and could probably talk to you about their quality.
