Hi!
I need to get a new pairs of straight leg/skinny jeans to wear under boots. You know, knee boots. I find it so hard to find those tight leg jeans that fit under the boots and don't 'pop out the top' so to speak, or spill over. That is def a pet peeve of mine. I was curious if you've found the best pair and if you would mind sharing the designer. Thanks! Hopefully that wan't too confusing.

ETA: Just to be clear- I didn't mean pop out of the top of the waist like muffin top, I meant pop out of the top of the boots. SI've seen people wear boots over the wrong type of jeans and there is just too much material for that. Then the jeans are spilling out of the boots. That's what I meant by spill over etc. (And to each there own, I just prefer not to wear mine that way).

I am probably making no sense. Sorry. Long day.

I only own levi''s right now. The style numbers are different for different countries, but levis fit my bum perfectly and no muffin top.

hi! Since they are a trendier style and you will really just be wearing them with your boots you should totally try forever 21. They have jeans for like 20$, they are skinny leg and would look great under boots.

I second Forever 21. I just bought a pair of skinny jeans there for $12.50! They fit me better than some of the pricier pairs I tried on. I am a total jean snob, too. They are the only thing I will spend a ridiculous amount of money on. The Forever 21 pair won''t last as long, but I probably won''t be wearing skinny jeans for long, anyhow!

I''d recommend the J Brand 10" (the style name is 910) for boots. It''s cropped and super skinny so it won''t bunch. Here''s a picture of it in the Ink wash off of the J Brand website. J Brand also makes this style with a zipper at the bottom which is also super cute.

I''d recommend Googling it and shopping around online because a ton of websites are having major sales right now. Haha! I was just going to suggest the very same pair. I got them a few months ago and they fit better than any other jeans I own. The denim is certainly not high end so you need to be careful when laundering them. But, you really can''t beat 12 bucks for a trendy item that looks good, too!

I get Gap skinny jeans and they totally work with those knee boots. I have huge calves and have always had problems finding skinny jeans that look good but I''m happy with Gap''s.... plus they''re a good price.

I LOOOOOOOOVE Refuge jeans from Charlotte Russe. They have a website, I think it''s just charlotterusse.com. Their jeans are cheap, but they actually last a really long time, and NO other jeans fit me better. Plus, they distinguish between the different cuts by naming them all after different gemstones! My favorites are Ruby, Opal, Lapis, and Pebble. Those aren''t the skinny kind, but they do have a lot of those too.

I am going to have to 2nd thing2of2 and recommend JBrand 910 (10" leg) or 912 (12" leg). They are my favourite fitting jean and I have stocked up quite a collection because it''s difficult for me to find jeans that fit properly! If your budget isn''t as high, I would ditto everyone that recommended Forever 21 (although I''ve never actually tried them on) or Urban Outfitters for an in-between price (they have a ton of different skinny jeans right now).

There was a super lengthy jeans thread over in shopping at one time, have you tried doing a search?

Otherwise, AE used to have some great skinny jeans that worked well with boots.

I loooove skinny jeans right now. I have a few pairs...one from Gap and another from TJMaxx. I HIGHLY recommend checking TJMaxx if you have one. I never buy cheap jeans b/c I am tall and usually need lengths, but length is not so important under boots. I paid $20 for the pair I found and they are SUPER skinny so they are perfect. I am thinking about looking for more there! Good luck and happy hunting!

I got mine at Target in the juniors department. I think they were about $20. I can''t bring myself to spend a lot of money on a trendy item. Now if I had more money I''d gladly spend a lot of a trendy item!
