Hello all,
I've decided to sell my Sophie with split shank from JBEG that I've had for about a month. It's absolutely gorgeous but I just long for a solitaire for my OMC. My loss is someone's gain....I'm selling it for much less than I paid for it.

Yep DD it sucks! I still haven't told my husband....I love it, I really do but it's just not *perfect* and I am mad I didn't trust my gut and do a solitaire from the beginning. Oh well, can't do anything about it now.

I think it will help if you post the exact measurements of the stone it held, and ask JBEG to find out from their bench the upper and lower limits for length and width that will fit the mount

I'm sad to see you sell this, but completely understand where you're coming from. I also agree with Dreamer, find out what the minimum and maximum measurements of a stone are that the setting can hold.

It is so beautiful!!! I don't have a stone that size but that would be a perfect setting for someone w/a large colored stone

I agree, perfections for a colored stone! If I had the funds I would go w/the colored stone project and this setting!

I'm sorry but I don't understand. I thought a solitaire was a ring with one center diamond (as opposed to a 3-stone, 5-stone, etc.). What is it about your setting that doesn't work as a solitaire? No judgment, I just wanna know!! Good luck with the sale.

Sidestones! Too much (for my eye) competing with the facet pattern of my OMC. New setting has no side diamonds, just metal.
