Hello PSers!
I'm thinking of getting one of the JBEG rose cut bezel rings in exchange for my watch but I'm torn on which one to get. I really wanted to get RG or YG but I really like the look of the round over the ovals. But the only round one that is left is also "flatter" on the top (I really like the higher ones) and in white gold.

Here are the 3 to choose from

Round in white gold (my least favorite)

I had hoped to get the twin bypass ring on their site but unfortunately that didn't work out. If none of these are good options I can always get my watch back but I'd prefer a RHR or even a diamond to eventually set into a bezel pendant later on down the road.

Thoughts? Feedback? Thanks so much :)

I'm voting rose gold... It's different. Even though I don't normally care for EW settings, I do like the two oval versions set EW.

I've admired those rings every time I've visited the JbEG website.

Can't wait to see which one you choose!

Hm ... in all honesty, I don't like rose-cuts without foiled backs. They act like little prisms and magnify whatever is behind them. The JBEG ones are better than what you typically see because there is some metal behind there, but I think if the bypass ring (which is stunning, btw - how did I miss that?!?) doesn't work out, I'd either wait to see what they post from the Vegas haul, or go for a loose stone to be set at your leisure ....

Isn't is Circe?! But I need to add an additional 500.00 to the watch to get it-which I can't do right now. The watch needs cleaning/servicing so a full trade isn't possible. :((

I'm very tempted just to keep the watch but it's never going to get worn. That's a shame since its so beautiful. No one had any suitable trades to offer me either.

I asked Grace if she had anything coming down the pipes and she didn't mention anything so I assume nothing she's willing to part with for the watch. :blackeye:

I also vote rose gold

I'm excited to share that I sold some bracelets, clothing and rings to fund the twin bypass ring :appl:

I pick it up on July 1st when I visit the states!

Ah, now that was the smart thing to do!!! :appl: Always wait for the thing you REALLY want rather than settle, because we always regret those purchases! Beautiful ring!!!

Yea, how wonderful :appl: It's a beauty

Congrats! I am glad you were able to get the twin bypass. I think it's beautiful. Rose cut is my least favorite of old cuts.

Thanks everyone-I was pretty excited to see myself sell a ton of stuff and make the money.

We're not made of money (we're not broke either) and my husband *probably* would have paid the difference had I asked. However-I didn't feel that was the wise decision to make in this case. I had a 2 sterling silver Tiffany replica pieces that were gifted to me as a teenager that I listed on a FB group and a lady bought them both-JBEG took my authentic one-and I sold a ton of nice-but not my style any more-clothing and sunglasses/purses/etc to come up with the remainder.

It was fun seeing all the 10-20.00 purchases add up to get the remainder of the balance needed.

My husband-being a dear that he is-when I got the email from JBEG (after I said I had raised the funds) that sizing/shipping would be an additional 40.00 told me not to worry about it.

I still plan on selling things to cover the remainder though. I like clearing out my house as well as knowing that things that I no longer used/needed have helped get me something beautiful that I'll enjoy for the rest of my life.

I'll have a SMTB thread when I return from my trip.

:appl:

I can't wait to see your pictures! And what a great way to exchange unwanted items for a wonderful treasure!
