I know the rule is to always buy the best cut you can afford. Does anyone have experience buying JA "very good" cuts vs "excellent" cuts. Is the different subtle or substantial? What is the best way to evaluate this online for a radiant or cushion cut?

Thanks for all your help!

Radiants and cushions have to be evaluated more by the pictures and hopefully an ASET image, but I am not sure if JA does ASET's or not. Usually they have good and bad stones within their excellent category, so I wouldn't be optimistic at all about looking in their very good. It might be like finding a needle in a haystack, but if you have time to look, that is fine.

for radiant and cushion cuts I would ignore JA's cut labels.
