You are both correct. I once had a nice looking diamond with a 63 + depth and a 60 table that showed very nice H&A patterning. Long time ago and I sold it here locally to someone who wanted an inexpensive diamond. It may have been H&A, but it most surely was NOT ideal...Date: 7/20/2009 10:05:03 AM

As for the other stone you linked, yes, that''s in their H&A section, so it''s possible it''s a H&A cut.
When a diamond is too steep/deep even for the GIA (see the only VG cut), it can not be ideal.
