Have most people on here had good service from James Allen? Most posts I''ve seen are positive, but I''ve been trying to get sarin reports and Ideal scope images since last Friday for 3 diamonds.

The rep keeps telling me that the "diamond dept" is short staffed this week and there''s nothing he can do to speed up the process.

Am I just being impatient or is this about the standard turn around time?
 
I didn't buy something from JA but they were responsive when I had emailed them asking about a stone. Maybe email them again??? Or call them?
 
I haven''t bought anything from them ( but may someday). Maybe call and see if you can get an idea of exactly how long it should take.
 
I''m working with them right now, and the reason they are so slow, because their NY office was closed for Pass Over for the whole week. They just re-opened yesterday, and of course they''re swamped. I finally got my idealscope today. Call them again tomorrow.
I''m working with Jennifer, and she is great!
 
They are just trying to get caught up from the holiday I bet. I've worked with Jim and he is generally very quick to respond, more so than other vendors actually.

Yep, I ordered my stone late on the 18th. It didn''t ship out until the 22nd since the office was closed on Monday for passover. No big deal to me since I didn''t need it until Friday.

Overall, I have had nothing but excellent service from James Allen -- quick e-mail responses, helpfull phone techs, and excellent sales department.
