PS - I am anxious to see the stone I chose. I am a *little* nervous because the CA is only 33, but I am really hoping it has a ton of brilliance to it (theoretically, right?)!!! I really want the fire too, so I hope that's there!

I've never made an internet purchase this large in my life, and it goes without saying it's scary. But thanks to this forum I was able to make an educated choice! I ordered the stone Thursday night, shipped out Friday afternoon/evening. At my door in CA at 9AM!!!

James Allen customer service and shipping are phenomenal! I hope the stone is as stunning as I envision it to be... if not... then...

I'll post up a hand shot of the stone in the little fake ring thing when *we* open it up. She has possession of the box right now, but has no idea what I got going on with Chris and ERD!

Just remember, lighting will determine what you see in the stone. You aren't going to see fire on an overcast day or in fluorescent lighting, for example. Look a the stone in different environments, and for a treat, take it to a store like Walmart, Home Depot, or another with that overhead halogen lighting!

Price Scope - I'm super glad I posted those pics of our original RB. It's like night and day, literally with this new stone! I can't believe my eyes with this thing! It's so nice... if I hadn't stumbled upon this site, we'd be stuck with a dud (not really) with a black holeeeee in the center (OK I'm exaggerating).

The James Allen packaging is great, the ring box is this nice lacquered wooden box. Classy!!! My soon to be loves this stone!
