The James Allen 20th Anniversary set with a 2 Carat center stone Princess H-VS2 AGS 0 Ideal cut "True Hearts" arrived this morning.
It is gorgeous! The very important and knowledgable assistance of the folks here at PS and Jim Schultz and Josh Cales all pointed me to the beautiful diamond I was seeking: An AGS 0 ideal cut stone.
The diamond is completely on fire without a single dead spot as you move it around in different types of light. I don't think I have ever seen a more visually stunning diamond in my life in terms of light performance. My wife wanted a "sparkly" beautiful diamond first and foremost, and this stone exceeded any of our expectations.
Thanks to Jum Schultz for suggesting this specific stone!
The setting is perfect and meticulously done, and the channels on both rings are perfectly straight with all of the small princess stones meticulously and symetrically placed in the channels. This setting really adds a lot of flash to the set and does not detract at all from the beauty and significance of the center stone.
I took a few initial pictures, and I will post more once I have the time to take better photos, including pictures on my wife's hand. The close-up was done with a USB Magnifier.
Thanks to Jim and Josh and those here at PS who helped me. I am very very happy!
