JA timeless setting

So, I thought that I was not in love with my diamond, but thanks to another poster I have come to realize that what I'm really not in love with is the setting. The straight lines combined with the round shape just don't seem to work well together (and there's so much metal around it!). After much searching I came across the JA timeless setting, but, I'm wondering if it wouldn't work well with my two bands because of the basket

. Any thought or ideas?

I think that setting is really pretty but I dont think your two wedding bands will sit flush with it if thats what you are asking. Would you consider
using the 2 bands as RHR stackers and just getting a plain simple thin gold band to go with the new setting?
