Ill preface this by saying i dont know much about EC at all but.....So I have one ec on hold at ja. I couldn't think of any more so they said they would find some. I got an mail with the ones the recommended and they look like they have a lot of obstruction. Are these good and I'm an idiot?

I think that step cuts are the most difficult to assess online. I remember how frustrated I was when shopping for my asscher. I don't think that the tilt angles in JA's videos are kind to ECs either. The only way you will be able to determine if they are nice performers is through ASET (which you already know) I believe. I hope that Karl sees this and will chime in with his thoughts. I wonder who makes the recommendations when a CSR suggests a stone? Do they ask the gemologist to make a recommendation or are they made on prior assessments that haven't sold?
