Massive sparkle may hide the inclusion in the table, if that is the case then it looks very promising!!! Can''t beat a great J SI2!

It could be.....you'll know when you lay eyes on it.

It's reeeeeeeeeally hard to know from a computer monitor - makes the damn diamond look as big as a grapefruit!

Tough to get perspective on eyeclean at that size.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the stats though.

They where extremely helpful, but cautious about over-setting my expectations on something as subjective as "eyeclean". They did think well enough of the stone to make it one of their expert selections...

Still hope my choice to sacrifice some color and quality for a fantastic cut and big diameter/carat is the right decision!

the inclusion looks like it could be white(?) so you may not see it...the 40x mag is hard to judge by. i have had a great J SI2 in the past that had one black mark off to the right of the table and the sparkles hid it 99.9% of the time and other times i had to get it close to my eye to see it. so you may get lucky. keep us posted!

I was looking at that stone a few months back and was told it''s gorgeous but not eye clean. I chose another with a smaller inclusion in the center also and it''s still not eye clean. However, my inclusion doesn''t bother me and it''s much smaller than the magnified pictures. You WILL be able to see that inclusion with your eyes up close, however, I highly doubt anyone else will be able to spot it. It''s all about your perception and "pickiness". I passed on that one. Here is what I chose and I can definitely always find my inclusion although it''s a spec, remember the pics are VERY magnified. I wouldn''t pass up the stone unless you are a neurotic clarity freak. It''s a great deal on a nice sized stone, I just chose a higher color. No one has ever spotted the inclusion in my diamond.

You can''t tell much from a picture, but I highly doubt it will be 100% eyeclean. Of course, there are several definitions of eye-cleanliness. Will the inclusion be visible in most light conditions? I don''t think so. May you be able to find it upon close inspection? That''s likely.

One thing that has not been mentioned: GIA lists clarity characteristics in order of importance for that particular stone and grade: the grade setter in this case should not be the crystal-cloud in the middle of the table, but rather the whitish feather at about 10 o''clock. It does look prongable, though.

When judging SI2s there are several factors to be taken in consideration: visibility, colour, nature and location of the inclusions and their effect on stone''s durability. Of course, it would have to be inspected in person to find out more.
I love SI2s myself - even though in 99% of the cases I am able to pick up the inclusions - for their unsurpassed price/looks compromise. J should look very white with this kind of cut. If the inclusion is not a major bother, I don''t see any reason not to go with it. I should also add I really like its size point - very close to 1-1/4ct.
