The engagement ring Ben Affleck gave Jennifer Lopez has gone back on sale in the shop it was originally bought from.

The Hollywood heartthrob presented the beautiful star with the six-carat pink diamond ring when he popped the question to her in 2002.

However, the couple called off the much-publicised engagement in January 2004 and the ring has now been "re-acquired" by New York jeweller Harry Winston at his shop, Carol Brodie.
A spokeswoman for the store confirmed the ring was back in their possession but said that the asking price would only be available to those considered "serious buyers".

Since their high-profile split, J.Lo has married third husband Marc Anthony and is now said to be trying for a baby with him, while Ben is romancing his ''Daredevil'' co-star Jennifer Garner.

It has been claimed that the handsome actor - who claimed the intense media interest in his relationship with J.Lo - will propose to the stunning actress this Valentine''s Day.

A source close to Ben told America''s People magazine: "It''s my understanding that he''s going to give her a ring."
