Jarbatz, I''ve seen several well-cut J-colored princess stones; none of them looked yellow. I have one that''s a bit shy of .75, and I don''t notice any body color in looking at it in real life. The only time I really notice any body color is in pictures; the camera captures color more than the eye does.
The only way to know if you''re tolerant is to really see one yourself. I had the same concerns, but in person, I wasn''t sensitive to body color.
Funny you should ask about this Jarbatz!
One of my friends just bought a 0.63J VS2 ES princess from WF and had it star set in a pendant. I have been meaning to start a thread in SMTR but have been very busy. So here is one pic to hold you over until I get a second to do the thread. I can''t detect any body color in real life. I think it is quite pretty.....I''m just jealous that I don''t have on too!!
This is my J princess... I don''t think it looks yellow at all. Although from the side I can detect a slight warmth when it is right next to an equal sized RB of a higher color. But noone is every looking that hard at it.
My solitaire also has a "faint" florescence, but I think I''ve heard it has to be medium florescence (sp?) for it to improve the appearance color of the stone.
Yeah my honey did such a great job shopping for it! He really did his homework and the cut really makes the difference. Its like 3 years old (geez I should probably be able to remember when I was engaged, huh?) and I still get compliments on it all the time!
