Much less traffic these days. I remember in the past, it would take me forever to get caught up on all the day's threads. Now, there are usually only a handful of new SMTB threads daily.

Also, so many old cuts! When I joined in 2008, the OEC craze hadn't really caught on yet.

I completely agree with this sentiment! When I first started browsing PS in 2005ish each forum was super busy. I also distinctly remember many colored stone lapidaries doing frequent drops with high-quality material (like spinels and mint and mandarin garnets) in large sizes and now there are far fewer drops and the quality of offered material has decreased, in my opinion.
