Hey there LIW's (and non LIW participants)I just wanted to throw in a quick update on here. Things are going pretty well for me. I've given up on the crazy notion to get back with the ex. But, I am glad I took the advice on here and kept seeing the "new guy" who is now my boyfriend (woot!). I am super grateful that everything happened the way they did because I would never have met my new BF if none of the bad stuff had happened!
Anyways, the tiny awkward part about living with the ex FI still finally surfaced the other night. I went to bed after a long run the other night and then a few hours later I hear a girl's voice in the living room that I didn't recognize....hmmm, I figured my other roommate was bringing another girl over...no biggie...THEN the ex's voice was heard. It turns out him and this girl (that we both know from Disney) appear to be spending LARGE amounts of time together. The one day we were at lunch he talked about her a few weeks back so it was completely obvious then...not to mention the ooodles of FB comments they exchange back and forth....It's blatantly obvious that they both like eachother. I just wish he'd get it out in the open with her already so I can feel more comfortable....lol. This way, we'll both be "moved on". He'll have his GF, I'll have my BF and life will be good. Hell, we could even go on "double dates" hehehe....
Honestly, I don't mind him bringing her over....doesn't bother me in the least bit. I still havent brought the BF over out of respect but, we'll see as time progresses.
So, no more ex, out with the old in with my new amazing boyfriend who is perfectly compatible with me on so many levels! He likes to work out and run with me, he likes the beach, he doesn't want to get married right away, he's patient and kind and man I could go on all day! Most importantly I feel like I can be myself with this new guy. I don't have to be someone I'm not! It's just amazing! But, I'm taking this one slow! So no adding me to the LIW list just yet....lol!
