Hmm ... will 3 plus my e-ring be too busy?
i think that it will be too busy. me thinks you will be happy with the thin bands.
What about trying on a larger-stoned single eternity (Michael C Fina had a FANTASTIC very low set one)? Or maybe just get a single thin eternity for now (a la Diamondseeker)?Date: 4/26/2008 6:39:04 PM

Sorry to bump up an old thread. I tried on two eternities on either side of my e-ring today, and it was too busy. What do you think of just one eternity?
I''m inclined to do the latter. I don''t want to overshadow my e-ring.Date: 4/26/2008 7:54:45 PM

Ok, we can be set twins.Date: 4/26/2008 8:21:59 PM

Well, as you know, I wear one with mine and I LOVE it! I think two can take away from the center stone whereas one still allows the diamond in the e-ring to be the center of attention.
Thanks! FI suggested getting yellow and pink eternities to wear as a set when I don't want to wear my e-ring. Leon thinks that would look like stoplight. He can be so funny!Date: 4/26/2008 9:08:55 PM

Firstly, your ER is fab. I like option 4. that would be more versatile.
Silly girl...why would ever not want to wear your e-ring??? Just kidding! I love the idea of colored eternity bands for versatility. I actually talked to Leon about doing a ruby and diamond one like this one...Date: 4/26/2008 9:24:09 PM

I love this ring! But I''d still want the thin diamond band to wear with the e-ring. Multiple options for different occasions is what we all need.Date: 4/26/2008 9:47:28 PM

A ruby-diamond combo would be gorgeous. Is ruby your birthstone? How about this as a stand-alone: http://www.artofplatinum.com/4images/details.php?image_id=296

It''s an ERD antique-y cushion cut in a tiger007g-like setting! Still undecided about the wedding band. Leon told me not to get the matching done at the same time so I could figure out how I wanted the set to look.Date: 4/26/2008 11:14:53 PM

Will you be getting one then? What will your e-ring look like?
Keep me posted. His office isn''t far from mine.Date: 4/26/2008 11:28:30 PM

Just posted in the other thread...I think it really depends on what you want. It is a GORGEOUS dress, in all the colors, for sure!
ETA: And feel free to tag along! I''m sure Leon wouldn''t mind seeing you!
Decisions, decisions. But, I think I''m leaning in your direction.Date: 4/26/2008 11:30:13 PM

I think a thin diamond band would look best with your e-ring, and now that you have that as an option, that is the one I vote for.
I think that''s perfect. ds''s set is stunning.Date: 4/26/2008 6:39:04 PM

Aye, I think you''re right. I''ll bet Leon would be able to make it that small, but even if it would have to be a little bigger, I think it would look amazing. I''m too hard on my rings (and too afraid) to own any micropave myself, but I absolutely love the look of it. It will be incredible.Date: 4/27/2008 9:54:55 AM

Gwendolyn,
Yes, I would. I wonder if it can be made so thin. My e-ring''s shank is 1.5-6mm. I''d want a micropave ring, so it''d have to be made of rbs, am I right?
