It''s time to think of the wedding band!

Ditto Sera that there''s no "wrong choice" with your selection, but personally I have fallen in love with option 4 since hanging around here - the versatility is great and always looks classic.

Question, who sells the nicest micropave eternities, without going ''crazy" on price?

Diamondfan,
Thanks for reminding me about the re-sizing option for the Cartier, i.e., none. So, that''s out.

arjunajane,
What do you define as "crazy."

Maybe I can talk the other half into 3 and 4.

Okay, option 6? The two micropave bands plus a spacer. (Or was that option 5?) I have 2 eternity bands, 1.5mm each. Obviously not LM''s, but the theory is the same for now. I find them too insubstantial when worn alone. So I wear a plain WB in between them. The thing is, since I rarely wear my solitaire right now, this is what I''m doing *MOST* of the time. So I''d suggest you pick something you''d prefer to wear most of the time as well. Unless you wear your solitaire a lot during a typical day. I do much prefer though, the look of Coati''s mismatched WB''s. So either symmetrical appeals, or mismatched appeals I guess. Good luck!

He should let you have both since the $25,000 cartier is out, yanno.

Can you resize the Leon rings you listed????

Well, she is going to save him a lot of money so why not? Lots of people get a few stacking rings for the ering.

Lyra,
If I do 4, I''ll get pink and yellow eternities to sandwich between the whites on days when I don''t wear my e-ring.

Skip, Dreamer,
Nice try. I made a mistake though. I meant the channel-set rolling ring, not the pave one.

The sizing issue can matter, that is why I am doing it as a second option so if I am a bit swollen it is not a problem.

Skippy, you are very practical! I always point that stuff out to hubby!!!!

Good thinking DF

you have great taste!

Harriet wouldn't you you have the sizing issue w/full eternity as w/the Cartier??? Can LM do 3/4's?

Yes, he can. My spinel and tsavorite rings will not be full eternities.

Well, then I really would not do it, as I do not like the channel set one. I went in with my hubby and tried on the colored diamond one, the channel, the larger white diamond pave and the narrow one. We both only liked the narrow all white diamond pave one. The channel is not that special, in my view.

As it's not flashy, it works well on me. But, that's moot since it can't be re-sized.

I really like the wedding band worn with the e-ring, so I would choose #4 first and possibly #3. I would think sizing would be an issue for #3, though. The #4 bands would need to be very thin, IMO.

Great minds think alike! Knowing me, I'll make the #4 bands as thin as Leon will allow.

Harriet, you have a pix of your beauty with an eternity band on each side. Just to give you a reminder of the possibilities.... i know it is not the mm you are looking for and they are 3side, but the concept does exist out there in cyberworld!

would you like me to repost it for you?

Yes, please. And may I borrow the bands for a trial period?

I''m a little late in the game, but my vote is for 3 or 4, I think the twisted ring would kind of match the rolling ring your husband is getting, but, unlike the rolling rings, you could wear it with your ER. With the two bands, you could really mix things up day to day....what a hard choice to have

You''re not late at all. Thanks! The "twisted ring" might also match my twisted mind.

So many options, I can see why you are having such a hard time deciding.
I like #1, #2, and #4.
Have you made a decision yet, or are you leaning towards one more then the other?

That one might be sizeable. I only know that pave cannot be, but a channel I am not sure. If you like it and feel you can get away with it in your work place, do not rule it out without checking that out. It is simply my personal taste, I am not a fan of channel setting and did not think it rolled that nicely, which is sort of the point with that ring. As for the pave trinity, I like it because it has three rings and I have three kids, and hubby is a diamond birth stone, so to me it has nice significance as an RHR but I am okay not wearing it all the time.

ok here you go. our fun coffee/tea outing.....

Lucy,
I''m leaning towards 3 and 4.
P.S. Have you sent off your ring?

Eva,
Thanks!

Hello Harriet- I think #4 would really complement your beautiful solitaire. Have you tried on #3 to see how it looks? I know you said in the past that Leon recommended that band, but if you wear the rings together, I think it may take away from your stone. Are you planning on wearing #3 together with your solitaire?

I am sending the ring to Leon today. I hope it does not take to long to repair. I need to be a lot more gentle when cleaning it.

I haven''t tried 3 on. I share your concern though.

Good luck with your ring!

hi harriet,
just a question before you make your decision. you have several really lovely colored stones....that i would assume will be right hand rings. the wedding bands that would have to be worn separately are all lovely.....BUT WHERE WILL YOU WEAR THE OTHER RINGS?????

Hi, and thanks for the compliment. I''ll wear the coloured stone rings on days when I don''t wear my solitaire. I can''t pull off more than 2 rings at a time.

Harriet, this is what I had in mind for the two pave bands (could be made by Leon if you didn''t want MB):

http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Michael-B-40ct-Pave-Diamond-Eternity-Platinum-Ring_W0QQitemZ150211309574QQihZ005QQcategoryZ110498QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

These are small enough to sit low and close to your e-ring and are maybe a tiny bit narrower which I think would look great with your ring. There is metal on the sides which would be what would touch the doughnut under the diamond.

Thanks, DS. That''s exactly what I meant by option 4.

Skippy, I meant it was an awsome idea and she SHOULD say that when she asks! My LOL was like, "LOL AWESOME IDEA!" Computers suck for communicating sometime... sorry to confuse!

Pity she can''t use that argument thought, because she was talking about a different ring...

Harriet, I am totally loving the idea of the two super thin pave... he makes them like 1.3mm doesn''t he??
