Wedding It''s here!!!! Dress pics to follow...

The boutique called and my dress came in yesterday! My mom and sister are coming to town and are going with me today to try it on/pick it up. This will be the first time that either of them have seen it--I went by myself to try on dresses and picked it out without anyone''s opinions--so I''m crossing my fingers that they love it as much as I do.

Will post pics this afternoon after my appointment.

Yayyyy! It fit--and my family LOVED it. I''m looking for my stupid camera cord right now so I can upload the pictures...stay tuned

Found it! Here we go...

The combination of the flash on my camera and the lighting in the dressing room is making the dress show up oddly shiny in pictures. The material is french taffeta so it has a soft sheen to it but isn''t shiny in real life.

In the pic I wasn''t wearing any shoes--the hem only needs to be taken up about an inch in the front. Also, my mom is adding extra layers of tulle under the bottom so it flares out a little more at the bottom. Other than that, I think it''s fabulous

I''m still deciding! I actually went to Chicago last weekend and got to try on the multi-colored blue Louboutins--I''m seriously in love with them. The size I tried on was a *touch* too small and they were the last pair. I could have ordered them, but I didn''t want to throw down that much cash without trying on the correct size so I''m going to look at a couple of places here before I make my final decision.

Thanks! The color of the dress is light gold. The beading on the dress is a soft pinkish rose mixed with gold.

Nope, no other alterations besides the hem (which my mom is doing). I got really lucky.
