It''s done! WF Aramis ring.

So WF just finished the ring and sent me these pics. I love it, but it turned out a little different since I thought the metal would cover the sides of melee stones as well, sort of like a channel set ring. But, that may have just been due to the angle of the pic of the original Aramis ring. Now I just have to wait 24 hours to see it in person.

It looks STUNNING! It looks like the same setting as the Aramis previous posted pictures to me, but yes sometimes pictures can kind of throw an illusion at you one way or another!! Please refresh our memories on specs, size etc? Looks great!

Same impression here. There are other rings set as you say - with ridges of metal around the pave ... but not that one. At least, as much as those pictures tell.

E.g. one with pave set in a channel and Mr. Aramis (which would get my vote, for what that matters)

perhaps WF would help, but it does look very 'Aramis' and very beautiful to me

Wow! Thanks everyone for your feedback. I''m starting to get really excited. It''s a 1.7 carat (just shy of actually) H&A stone from Excel Diamonds. When I get the ring back I''ll post all the pics (idealscope, etc.). Thanks everyone!
