It's all in the cut: Compare the angles on these please.

I have the GIA Certs on 2 diamonds and was wondering which has the better angles for maximum light performance.
I don't have idealscope or Sarin Images. Please help as best you can to explain and help me pick between the two.

Without any images I think it will be hard to give an answer on which is better with any amount of certainty. Both pass the HCA meaning they should be explored further and you should try to get the images if you want to make a more informed decision. They are going to look the same size even though #2 is lower in weight. I would say #2 might be a better balance between brightness and fire, whereas #1 is cut more for fire than it is brightness with the higher crown angle. I'm not an expert, but those are my initial thoughts.

The second one has a lower crown than you'd want for good fire.
The first one needs and idealscope.
