I''m mostly over in Colored Stones but lately I''ve really been wanting a diamond for my right hand (especially since I''m finally working!). I don''t want an H&A (since I want an H&A for my e-ring eventually) but rather an older cut, giving off chunky flashes of light, etc. I''ve been looking at OECs and such on Fay Cullen, and Erica Grace, etc. but I also saw this from GOG. Is this a great deal (if you don''t mind the inclusions) or a pass?

Not sure yet on how I want to set. I''d like to keep the price under $1000. If I go smaller than this (about .50 ct. or even smaller I''ll probably halo). If this one is a contender, I''d probably send it off to Jim Meyer.

Thanks!

oh man oh man,,, I like it, it. an L, I bet it would look fantastic, if you can swing, go for it. but as for a halo, not too sure about with the melee colors though? depending on if you want to accentuate the L color or not.

You should snatch that baby right up! If I had the money, I would!

It''s so affordable too, and for some reason those inclusions just don''t seem to bother me.

Please reserve it quickly!! It''s so gorgeous, I would get it in a heartbeat.

Oh man, I think it''s gorgeous and I hope you decide to get it! I looove the color!

Thanks guys for responding!

It really caught my eye, and whoa that size for the price?! I e-mailed Jon about it at GOG - I wanted to ask some questions about the inclusions, and about NY tax.

So another quesiton for you ladies (and gentlemen!): Do you think the diamond would look ok in a bezel (like Jim Meyer''s)? I don''t want to cut down on light return - but for this stone, I really really want a JM setting (like Coati''s) - I think the look of it would suit the chunkiness of the diamond really well. Thoughts?

I have the JM 1345 (all plat.) setting and use it as a RHR too. The bezel is open on the botton and is not covered. The diamond is simply being held by the girdle, so the diamond is not really blocked. My diamond has not lost any sparkle. The JM setting would be perfect for your diamond IMO.

I think it would look awesome in a JM setting! Unplated wg?

Beach, I remember your JM, and I just wanted to say again - it''s divine! I''m glad you stopped by - if I get this I so want it in the JM, and I''m happy you don''t have any light blockage problems with yours. Thanks!

Definitely! Think that would go well with the warmth of the stone?

I''m sorry honey! Never post a diamond here in RT without putting it on hold, this happens a lot

I thought YOU had put it on hold. Someone else did huh? How awful...!

GRRRR.

Yeah I should have known better, but I didn''t want to put a deposit down without asking about it. But let''s just say, whoever it is, you have some serious negative shopping energy directed towards you right now!
