First the question: Is it wrong to show people that do not know your fiancee the eRing before she sees it? What do you ladies think about that?
As for the review of GOG, I was very satisfied with my experience/purchase and the ring looks amazing. They worked with me on some difficult circumstates to get the ring 1000''s of miles away, and did so without a hitch. The I/SI2 stone was as promised, looks eye clean, and look VERY white (was pretty surprised). When my package arrived, it included the original GIA cert, 2 copies of my appraisal, a Triplet Loupe (and I just bought one off eBay!), an Ideal Scope, and a lighted display box. It was in 4 layers of DHL packaging, which I''m sure is for insurance purposes, but it was nice to know it would have taken a very determined thief to get at my purchase.
Overall, I would highly recommend an online retailer... especially the ones on these forums. GOG is just a little local shop in Long Island, but they are the best "B&M" I have delt with so far.
Once I get the ring into the final setting, I''ll come back and leave some pictures.
