But wait a minute! The source you linked says:

"While the report found intelligence was in fact manipulated by CENTCOM, the task force found no evidence that orders for those changes came from the White House."

Do you think it is possible that President Obama is actually not the person who started ISIS? That he actually may have been effective in combatting ISIS? That he might even be a US citizen by birth?

Indeed. Not to mention it's small potatoes. I know memories are dreadfully short about this stuff, but maybe we could discuss something with more angles, like how much of the intel used as justification for the Iraq war, was manipulated and outright fudged.....

Yes, it's interesting and IMO more "newsworthy" than some of the Trump-related threads I've seen. As much as I don't like an over-kill of politics, the new balance is nice

This is not the first time Intel has been inaccurate, but that doesn't make it okay. Inaccurate Intel endangers our military and our homeland, which is very consequential.
We don't know how high up the lies go. Even though the "JV" scrip doesn't encourage bad news on ISIS, we don't know that the pressure to change the reports came from the Whitehouse. We may never know.
