Recently I purchased a 1.658 RB TrueHearts diamond from James Allen. To my untrained eye I thought the diamond looked great, but I took it into my jeweler to find out how it compared to the HoF diamond they were trying to sell me.

Here is my previous post:Diamond Details

The HoF diamond was a 1.67 H VS2 and it was $9,500 more than what I spent on mine (Thanks JA!!) Unhappily, the jeweler commented how beautiful my stone was knowing that they couldn''t come close on price.

My diamond scored a 9.3: Its scores are in white
HoF diamond scored a 9.2: Its scores are in yellow

As my main concern was finding a diamond that sparkled I think the Isee2 results confirmed what my eye had been telling me.

Sounds like you have a beautiful diamond.

The image you posted looks like neither. Curious, what and where is this image from?

I couldnt get a print out / screen shot of the comparison that they did at the store, so I went to the Isee2 website and took a screen shot of their data. Then I tried to overlay the scores that I received that day (they''re approximations, mine in white..HoF in yellow)to show the difference between the HoF and the TrueHearts.

I guess I should have explained the picture a little more. I have added thicker colored lines which I hope will show where the two diamonds scored. Sorry I didn''t have a better way to get my point across.

No prob. I got ya. You lucked out in this instance. Many diamonds do not score over a 9.0 Congrats to you though on your engagement and looks like you did well.

Kind Regards,

Rhino,

I''m by no means an expert. So if a little luck needs to come into it that''s fine with me

. I just wanted to show the difference that I saw; but you''re right, a sample size of one is not enough data to say that ALL TrueHearts would score that well.

Thanks to the PS group for all their help.
