I hear you loud and clear!!!! Every place he can put his 'collectibles' is jam-packed, AND, get this - I'm not allowed to touch any of of it![]()
.
He's a hoarder and knows it, but can't/won't do anything about it.![]()
Any ideas would be most helpful. Should I 'secretly' take a couple of things daily/weekly from his 'stash' and see whether he notices???![]()

Get thee a file cabinet! Or, at least one of those smaller plastic hanging file holders that you can carry around with you. David Bach has a great organizing section in one of his personal finance books. He tells you what to label each folder, and how long to keep files, etc. I bet your library has some of his books.pinkstars said:We're both pretty bad with junk. I have a problem with figuring out how to get rid of things, so I think that if I could figure out how to organize everything, it would be easier to keep things...nice. I can admit that we have a side table full of mail, mostly bank statements and credit card offers. I don't know what to do with the bank statements, but it's a daunting task to shred all of the junk mail. I think our shredder stopped working too, but there's so much of it and I don't feel comfortable just throwing it away.
Ugh, I feel terrible with how bad we are about this. Maybe I can convince BF to take a trip to costco to find something to organize our things with.
