My fiances engagement ring is 1.24 carats solitare and the wedding band were looking at is 1.10 carats over 7 stones. Both are round brillant.....is that too much?

well here is a set belongs to Rosie7235 her center is 1.19 carat and her seven stone is 18 pointers each, yours sounds to be about a little over 15 points each, so I would think yours would look similar to hers. She is a size 4.5. What do you think? does it look a bit much? I think it looks nice, but I would want my ering to take center stage and not necessarily compete with the band, but thats me personally so I would myself stick to about .10 but again, its you that have to love it, not us. Hope this picture somewhat helps.

sorry I pulled her original picture and it was too large. but here it is attached.

How bout take her into a local shop and look at their eternity, semi eternity, and ask the Sales Associates for a few to see what size would look great with it, I did that and knew what size didn't work. Its really also hard to tell from photos just because finger looks different than IRL. and also whether you like seven or even five stones. then ask them for the carat weight of the ring, and just divide that to get the pointer size, right it down if you have to since you'll be viewing many to get an idea. I actually went to Jareds (if you are in the states) and they seemed to have many different sized diamonds.

I love the larger band. My set is that way. The stones in my band are 1/3 each, all the way around. I find you need to have your engagement ring set up a little high however, so that the rings sit flush. Here is a photo with my ruby engagement ring; hand is at my side.
