Hello,

Been chating to Jon at GOG and he likes the look of this diamond. He then gave it to his assistant to get the stats and pics, so not spoke to him since his first inital look.

What do you''s think?

Is it a keeper or what?

If Jon approves, then I would trust his eye and expertise, it looks to be a pretty diamond in the pic, but what matters most is it the type and shape you are looking for? If you like the diamond, let yourself be guided by Jon.

It looks like it could be a great stone. Just keep in mind that it is almost 3mm longer than it is wide. That is just great if you like the longer EC type of look. Its a preference not a good or bad thing. So if you love the way it looks, it could be the one.

Thanks for you quick responses.

Yeah i do trust jon completely, he has been fantasic with me. I was just wanting an opinion of the people on here to see what there views on the stone was as i do not trust my inexperienced eyes at all. Like i say i only chatted to him when he had a look at it himself then it went to testing and since the initial look ive not spoken to him to find him thoughts on the ASET and idealscope pics. But i will hopefully today.

My girlfriend likes the look of the longer ECs, thats what she prefered when we went looking anyway.

I dont understand the firetrace on the megascope, What does the B,F,S mean on it?

I just want to make sure this is the right one. So all opinions welcomed please.

Personally, if I was looking for an EC, this is the type I would be looking at, it is a nice traditional example of the shape to me.

B F S means brilliance, fire and scintillation and how well the diamond scored with each.

Woohoo! Good choice John! I think from a previous post you had liked the longer emerald cuts - and this one will be just perfect.

When you get that baby set be sure to post pics for us!

so clean and WHITE! I love it!

Looks gorgeous, can''t wait to see it set!

CONGRATS!!!
