Is this Thai vendor too good to be true?

In a word DONT BUY
They lie.
I checked other listings of theirs, there is a ruby that they say is Heat only yet the AGL THAI (not US btw) report they have a photo of says “heat (c)”.
This “heat (c)” means colour and clarity enhanced by heat with moderate residues ie glass or other chemical components in cavities, so they are selling a $10 glass filled ruby for thousands.
I would assume that the sapphire is likewise glass filled and/or beryllium treated and basically worthless.

They say “gentle heat only” yet the reports they include say “heat (c)” which is glass filled!

@Bron357 thanks for the info. I didn't know the H(A) H(B) H(C) differences.

I wasn't going to buy anyway, but just wanted to know if there are real deals like this. Good to know this vendor is lying. I won't ever buy from them.

You see the Inter Gem Lab reports in card forms in a few of her listings. If you walk around Bkk, even curio or souvenir stores selling gems and such will have a few pieces with that report. Even for stones that any budding PSer won't buy like highly included pebbles or just mineral specimen. I reckon it's very affordable and lax with the issuance.

The colours in her photos look very saturated too..would give them a miss.

Yeah, pass. Those emeralds look exceptionally inexpensive for the saturation pictured.

Well spotted @Bron357
Such a shame that this shop is a bit dodgy. They have some really pretty things! :rolleyes2:
