Is this stone too good to be true?

My ideal stone but outside my budget at this point would be a 0.8 carat E VS1 but what I'm finding has led me to play around with a few factors but I don't think I've found a price as good as this for the specs:

0.76 F VS 2 triple excellent cut for $3540 with a discount for wire transfer.

HCA is 1.4 and I'll try to attach images of the stone and ASET as well.

Looks like a nice diamond : ). The only qualm I have is that you don't seem happy with it, which is the most important part. Have you been to an in person jeweler to see what stone qualities are really important to you? Most people can't tell the color difference between E, F and G, for example (especially in a platinum or white gold setting), or the size difference between a 0.8 and a 0.76 carat stone (especially after setting). If you value the carat most, you could drop from an F color to a G color to get the size to the .8 you want, or if it's clarity you could bump that up by dropping to G color as well. The stone you've picked out looks good though : ).

I'm also assuming that the lack of focus in the diamond picture is due to the camera operator (which is what it looks like to me), and not anything else.

Thanks for your insight! You're right, I think I am just partial to color E stones since they were always the prettiest ones and I could start to see the color difference from F to G.. But then again you're right I'm not sure how much of a difference id notice when set in a platinum setting.

I also have been partial to 0.8 carats since those were the ones that looked best on my finger and it was 6mm, I even like a 0.9 carat nky it was color I and I would like the stone to look clear on the side too since I will likely get a basket setting.

Thanks for your tip I will try to see if I can see a difference in a G in a mock setting-
Perhaps that's the best way to tell if I can pick up any nuances.
