It is for my daughter''s pendant. Is the spread good for a stone this size?

Looks like a BEAUTY!
Nothing to raise any red flags. Everything looks good, imo.

Scintillating...

??? I might pull the plug on this one, what do ya''ll think?

Angel, what do you mean the most perfect depth there is for this stone is 57%.

I need guidance, gang.

60.9 is just fine.
Anyone else want to chime in for Ann?

Yep - Looks like a really nice stone.

What a sweet thoughtful mom you are to give your daughter such a present. She's going to love it.

Scint...

HCA score is 1.1

no question... if the price is right and it looks like a James Allen diamond by the pictures and he has good prices... buy it

Ann- What did you decide?

Scintillating...

Ann, it looks like a great stone. I love the specs and IS image. One question, though--are you choosing the G and VS1 for peace of mind? You could go down in color and clarity and go bigger.

I have the stone on hold, they sent me more pics today, look great.

I don''t think my daughter would want a 1ct. - too big for her, so I think she would be more comfy with something this size.

I wanted to get a nice stone to start her diamond education off right!

I bought the stone. Now I need metal advice.

This is a pendant. I want that floating diamond look, so I sent some pics to Carrie @ James Allen (super nice girl)

and she will show them to the owner, who will forward them to their designer to make this baby up. Now do I have it made in 14 or 18 kt. (WG) which one is best for a pendant? Is 18kt too soft?

The best part about this is JA''s designer is located right here in Houston, same building as WF I bet! So I can go down there and check it all out before we begin. How cool is that?

Looks like a winner, Ann!!!! The size will be very nice for your daughter. Can''t wait to see the design.

That''s interesting that JA uses a designer all the way in Houston. I wonder why that would be since they are in MD?

The designer called me this evening. What a nice man. he has the diamond in his posession and will begin building the pendant. We discussed all the issues and are going forth with a 4 prong basket and using 14ktWG Should have it in 2weeks or less.

Yes, I will post pics asap.
