In the process of getting this stone set, so I''m hoping some of the cutters/sellers can shed light on whether the following stone would still count as a NEW AGS Ideal cut, since it was originally rated as one. I haven''t really been able to find a thread where the proportion ranges were explicitly laid out, so maybe I can get a one-off eyeball from the experts?

RBC
7.18-7.21x4.32
Cut Grade: AGS Ideal 0
Polish, Symmetry and Proportions all Ideal
Negligible flourescence
Depth 60.0%
Table 56%
Pointed culet
Girdle 0.8-1.3% faceted
Crown angle 34.2 (14.8%)
Pavilion angle 40.4 (42.4%)

Thanks for all help in advance!

40.4 deg pavilion might be a bit off but I'm not 100% sure...

According to the cutting-guidelines, this stone is an AGS-2 in the new system.

However, like I said before, cutting-guidelines are not grading-guidelines, and it could be that because of minor facet arrangement, the stone gets another grade.

I hope that you are not too disappointed,

Live long,
