Is this reasonable?

So I am eternally dissatisfied with the size of my diamond ... have upgraded once from 0.25 ct to 0.63ct, now looking at more like 1.5, and it's only been 5 years from the original

For various reasons, it seems very difficult to upgrade at the original store, so looking further afield. I have been offered $2000 (AUD but lets call it even with the USD) as a trade it credit for my current stone which is

This is with an Australian online wholesaler.
DO you think I could do better? I know the market is tough after you've bought it, but this seems about 40- 50% of the value?

You could always change settings if you want more finger coverage... I don't know what your budget is, or what you originally paid for the stone, but a change in setting might be all you need at a fraction of the cost
