The AGS report indicates that this diamond is an AGS0 grade stone; however, the HCA shows it to be outside the white box which I believe indicates an AGS0 grade.

Why is there a difference and should I be concerned by the difference?

Yes, it is.

The HCA AGS outline is just a 2D outline for cutter. AGS Performance Based Grading is based on 3D. So even if the average numbers falls inside the cutter guideline, it may not achieve AGS0.

So if it shows it falling just outside the AGS0 on the HCA I should worry about it?

No, if it has the AGS0 grade thats what matters.

Yap, no worries, as long as the IS looks good.

Here is a screenshot of the AGS proportions guidelines for round brilliant cut diamonds with a 58% table (57.9% table rounds up to 58%) and as you can see, the diamond does fall into the pink Ideal sector with a crown angle of 34.9 degrees offset by a pavilion angle of 40.9 degrees. You''re good
