I have purchased a princess cut stone that is 1.06 carats and its dimensions are 5.88x5.89x 3.89mm. The depth is 67 and table 69. This seems to be out of the range of what people are saying on here (5.3-5.7mm) is this bad? I have seen the diamond and it looks great just wondering if it is considered better because you are getting a larger looking stone or is it not desireable. My soon to be fiance wanted a 1 carat that faced up larger than normal but without compromising alot of brilliance. Thanks for your responses.

Hold it closer to the monitor so I can see it better. :}
Seriously, how does it look to you?

you bet!

Those numbers can''t predict if this is as brilliant as they get or not quite. The only way to know is to compare your stone with others or use some model as reference: see Ideal-Scope.com and there are other such tools for testing and judging brilliance out there.

LMAO!

5.9mm is a very nice spread for a 1ct princess, congrats on your purchase and for getting engaged!
