Is this price too good to be true?

I asked a vendor for a price quote for a diamond half eternity. 9 stones, Ideal cut (ten pointers), F/G colour. Si quality. Yellow gold. The quote came in at $1350. This seems low.

Anyone else think so or is this a realistic price? I haven't purchased jewellery for a while so maybe i'm just out of the loop.

Sounds low to me, too. You know the old saying..you get what you pay for.

Thats what I thought. They said the diamonds would be ideal cut and super sparkly and clean. Its tempting, if I can return for a refund if its not as described. The vendor is well known and highly thought of here on PS.

Well in that case then I don't see why not just make sure you can return for refund not store credit

Well maybe it is a typo? worth asking though if it is something you want and they have a good return policy

Can you "approve" the stones before they set them? Might make you feel more comfortable.

Well, if it bears out to be real, tell them you know a Gypsy who will be calling them next to buy one as well.

I emailed back, just to be sure its not a typo. If its not I might just go ahead and order it. Provided there is a return policy.
