hi everyone,

please rate this diamond! here are the specs:

2.5, G, SI2 (eye-clean)
Crown Angle: 35.5
Pav Angle: 40.6
Table: 56%
Depth: 62%
Girdle: medium faceted
Dimensions:8.66x8.70x5.38

do you think i will see a noticeable size difference between this stone and my 2.6 (8.87x8.91x5.41)?

also, would this be considered AGS0?

i hope this is the one! i''m excited to hear your feedback!

Hi chitown,

The size difference will not be much, is that what you were wanting? I''m assuming you''re possibly moving up in color?

At any rate, this should be a really pretty stone. It can''t be considered AGSO, because it wasn''t graded so.

Looks good!

Maybe you can ask WF what it got from AGS for light performance if it has a DQR.

thanks ellen! yes, i''m moving up in color from an ''I''. i''m hoping the size difference will be miniscule.

thanks! i have to wait til thurs to get brian''s thumbs up. i will ask wf about the DQR...i asked because i wasn''t sure if it means it''s AGS0 if it lands inside the AGS box on the HCA?

Are you sure that stone is eyeclean from the top?

hi honey22! i was wondering about that too once i saw the magnified pic. my wf rep told me the manufacturer confirmed it was eye-clean, and then the person who received the stone at wf said it was eye-clean as well. she''s going to take a look at it tomorrow morning to see for herself, but she told me the inclusions are white in nature and cannot be seen without a loupe. i am keeping my fingers crossed that is the case!

There''s an awful lot of gunk in that stone. I know it''s super magnified but will you be happy knowing all that stuff is in there? Mind clean and all that...??

Have Brian take a look at it. I trust his eyes. Good luck.

i know! it looks like there are a lot of inclusions in the stone. as long as it''s truly eye clean (by wf''s definition), it won''t bother me. i''d rather pay for the color and size than the clarity. hopefully it is!

thanks kaleigh. my fingers are crossed.

I would feel comfortable if WF gave it the thumbs up and this was seconded by Brian.

Fingers crossed for you!!!

Ok. No, there won''t be much of a difference in this size at all, so you should be fine. And it sounds like it may indeed be eyeclean. Let us know what Brian says!

And you''re very welcome.

i will definitely let you all know! my rep sent me a side by side comparison of this stone with my other stone, and the size difference is just barely discernible. i can see that it is much whiter though!

Hi, I would probably be a little worried about the inclusions, but if Brian says it''s fine and you are fine with it, great. Ask him if Lindsay could take a look at it as well. She looked at a stone that I was interested in and she said she could see something at arms length distance.

As far as size, I went from a 8.73 mm to a 8.6 mm and the size difference was completely unnoticeable.

Good luck! A G color is great!

you guys were right. i got a thumbs down from brian. he thinks there are two small inclusions i could be unhappy with.
