Is this Ideal-scope image really, really good?

Hi everyone, glad to join this wonderful community.

I've done lots of research and have looked at a lot of documents and images of diamonds, including those considered to have the best possible cut (including "Brian Gavin", according to truthaboutdiamonds.com).

What do you think of this Ideal-scope image attached, does it look really good? My knowledge is limited; to me, honestly, it looks better than any other Ideal-scope image I've seen, except ones with almost no leakage at the edge, but those would have painted girdles and possily look dark in real life.

Somebody bought this diamond, NOT from any well known jeweler's top line of diamonds... so, is it worth the money to buy a super ideal cut diamond from a well known jeweler, or should one just persevere in finding a seemingly good diamond from just about anywhere?

But right now, what I'm not certain about is whether the diamond attached here is truly a great-looking diamond, though it appears to be.

Thanks!

I like the IS of the diamond shown. Excellent symmetry and cut. For some, only a branded super ideal will do. For others, non branded super ideals hits their sweet spot. For another group, there is no need for super ideal but it must still come very close.

Thanks a lot! I think I'll look for a diamond with this kind of IS image... I'm just a layman with no knowledge of diamonds, really, and have been confused somewhat by all the research I've read... I thought all-red would be the best-case scenario, but then some experts showed pictures with those diamonds being actually darker in appearance in reality, due to something called "painting" at the girdle. To be honest, I don't know what the truly ideal IS image should look like... I was under the impression that more red would be better, except at the edge, which's why I thought this one was the best I'd seen so far, but who knows...

If you don't mind, could you or anybody else please kindly post an image of an IS image that's a bit different from the type I've attached and still be considered an ideal cut? I'm trying to look for a diamond with the best cut.

Thanks so much!

And there are diamonds that are more "pink" in the table area than the one you show, but peg the Brilliance Scope (Gemex) with 3 very highs, and also land a 9.8 or 9.9 on the Isee2 and are both very bright and very firey. I used to have some of those bookmarked on my old PC, but that hard drive croaked.
