We really need the crown and pavillion angles to help you with the cut, can you post them please? You should find them on the grading report. Is this diamond with an online vendor, or have you seen it in person?

Also VVS is very high clarity, did you purposely want such a high grade? Just to make you aware, you could comfortably drop to VS or even SI clarity if you wanted, and still have a very clean diamond, but this is indeed a personal preference. G is a good pick for colour! This diamond looks to be what we call a fine make, or well cut diamond which may perform well, but it isn't cut to superideal standards which give second to none light performance. It depends on what you are looking for, if you want a diamond which is as good as it can get with superideal performance, and attention to detail such as excellent, or ideal for polish and symmetry, you may need to look some more, but if you want a lovely fine make of diamond, according to the crown and pavillion angles, this may be a good choice.

Post the angles, then we can give more meaningful input.

The angles look good.

Magic, it is CUT which makes a diamond sparkle, the skill of the cutter who brings the rough stone to life, clarity makes no difference to a diamond's beauty, unless you have a very low clarity I3 for example, which is very included to the eye, and which can block light.

You could have two diamonds side by side, one which is a D colour and IF ( internally flawless or even a flawless) clarity grade. The other, a J colour SI2 clarity for example, which is eyeclean. If the J SI2 diamond has an excellent cut, and the D IF does not, the J SI will be by far the most beautiful diamond, the D IF could look like a chunk of glass without the all important cut!!!

Cut is KEY for a diamond's beauty, I would suggest you read the advanced tutorial which I will post for you, as this will give you the info you need to see how important cut is for a beautiful rock!

Here you are start reading here to start learning how cut makes all the difference.

The diamond you posted looks as if it could be a nice choice. Alternatively once you have read up and are comfortable perhaps in broadening your clarity options, you could contact vendors such as www.goodoldgold.com or www.whiteflash.com , tell them what you are looking for, and they can suggest some beautifully cut diamonds which will give you the all important sparkle factor! Have a look around their websites, WF do a branded hearts and arrows cut which are extremely beautiful diamonds called A Cut Above, or ACA, or their Expert Selection range which just missed out on the ACA title.

Good old Gold also do some fab diamonds. Hearts and arrows diamonds aren't essential to get a beautiful diamond, to make things easier, if you search yourself, use the search tool above and stick to in house diamonds which the vendors already own, and select AGS0 and GIA Excellent cut grade, as this makes finding a lovely diamond easier.

You are most welcome!

BN is a good vendor who have a 30 day return policy, which is very useful. However they do not offer a trade up policy which some other vendors do, I just thought I would mention it in case you might ever want to trade in a diamond and get a larger one. The price looks fine using the search tool above to check out similar diamonds.
 
Magic, to elaborate on what Lorelei was saying about cut making the diamond beautiful, here''s a great illustration, in pictures. This is LynnB''s beautiful J SI2. I thought maybe seeing would be beleiving, or at least fun to look at.

magic, we can say it has potential, but without more info, like an idealscope pic, that''s about it. Are you dead set on BN? If you were to shop with a vendor that gives the important info, we would love to help you find something, where we could say, it will be a stunner.

Like I said, using the search tool at the top of the page to compare prices of similar diamonds, the diamond you are interested in seems to be the right price. The diamond you are interested in should be a sparkly diamond, the price seems right and it could be a good buy from the info we have. You also have the 30 day return policy to make sure it is the right diamond.

Lynns' diamond in the link Ellen posted, is a superideal hearts and arrows type diamond that I mentioned earlier. The cut and proportions of her diamond are as good as it gets. If you want a diamond very similar to that, then you could drop your clarity as I suggested earlier, and look at a branded hearts and arrows cut like Lynn's from Whiteflash or Good old Gold. If you want, we can suggest some for you to consider.

You could have this diamond for the same price as the BN one, same brand diamond as Lynn's as an example.

I am not set for BN only, the only thing is i placed an order but as you said i have 30 days to see, also this is kind of my maximum budget.

I would love to use you skill and knowledge to find a good spakling diamond.
