guy from GOG said this is an amazing stone w/ excellent light return.

I''m no storm, but it looks lovely to me.

Do they have any "normal" pics of the stone?

also got the crown depth %. its 18%. I remember Storm saying that some beautiful asschers are in the range of 15-18%.

should i get it?

i can use some advice.

Looks good to me too, but I too would like to see a "normal" picture.

looks like DC images to me and not actual.
need to know if they are based on helium or sarin data and an actual photo would be nice as a check.

Id rate it as very good if they are helium based if they are sarin based then its not accurate enough to say for sure.

Id like to see wider corners and bigger windmills.
18% crown height is ok.
It is likely a bright and sparky asscher again based on it being helium data and not sarin.

i believe they are sarin data 3d images. I''m not sure what this means. does it mean its a rendered images of how the diamond will look/react or are these actual images?

GOG was very pleased to show me the sarin. if these aren''t the "real" images, how can they determine that?

thanks guys.

They are DiamCalc images based on sarin data by the sounds of it.
Its good enough to say if a diamond is worth bringing in for more tests but thats it.
When its based on helium data then its good enough for other things.

If you like the smaller corners/windmills this one is worth getting more info on.

what is the advantage of having wider corners and windmills?

is it just preference or does it affect the "performance" of the stone?

preference mostly.
There is some performance difference too but its mostly in the class of personality.
