Is this GIA graded diamond a keeper or should I run?

Weight is just under 1 carat, I modified the attached gia report a tad because I am planning to purchase this one...However it is an SI2 with quite a few problems (clarity wise). The price is really good which is why I want it. Scores 1.3 on HCA but interestingly is only very good on light return but excellent on spread. The GIA cut is very good I was told you may not be able to see the difference between very good and excellent. Polish is good. Again I was told that may not make a big difference in terms of being able to see it. Symmetry is excellent. I don't have a picture but can probably get one. I have decided to buy without an idealscope image because I can get more diamond in terms of carat for my money at vendors that don't supply those images. I will request a picture. Anyway I would appreciate opinions on the diamond. I am looking for a quality diamond with good light performance but it doesn't have to be the best of the best. Do you think it will be eye clean? I can return it if it is not.

budget is 3000 to 3500 max, as close to 1 carat as I can get

The only way you'll know is to see it in person.

I can buy and return I'm basically asking is this an obvious don't buy? The diagram is pretty marked up and I dont know if that means I should be running or not. Or is this possibly a very good buy as the problems may not be eye visible?

You'll have to ask the vendor if it is eye-clean, and from what distance and angles. There is no way to know for sure from the plot diagram, although I'd be concerned since there are numerous flaws right under the table.

I would not say that this is an obvious-don't-buy... however, if possible, I would recommend asking for a macro photo of the diamond before purchasing. We can't know from the inclusion plot if they are clear, white or dark, but a macro photo should give you a pretty good idea of whether it is worth purchasing so you can examine it in person. If you can afford the shipping costs and you have the time, as long as the macro photo looks promising, I'd probably check it out myself.
