Hi there, new to all this but just wondered if this diamond was any good?

JA will allow you three stones to request light return images (idealscope or ASET), so once you can narrow down three good ones, you can request those and post them here,.

This is the range I use to narrow down the GIA Ex cut stones most likely to fall in ideal cut range:

table: 54-58

depth: 60-62.3

crown angle: 34.0-35.0

pavilion angle: 40.6-41.0

The one you linked could be okay, but I'd first see if you can find three within the above parameters.

You can use the HCA tool https://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca and plug in the specs to see what it scores.

So it scores well by those parameters. Vid looks good but there appears to be some sort of residue on the stone. Not sure what that is due to.
