Hello forum!
I posted specification of a diamond a few weeks back and it has arrived! Everyone who has seen it said it is very sparkly. I have taken the diamond to the jewellers in London and they cannot see anything wrong with it.
I managed to find a jeweller with an idealscope! We had a look at the diamond and there was the perfect diamond arrowheads in black with a background of red, I do not remember seeing any light leakage (whiteness). Unfortunately I could not get a good photo of this to post.
I have ordered the idealscope and aset scope so that I can post images in the future.
I tried doing some spotlighting on the diamond, and it seems to flash bold and pinpoints fire and appear very glittery. Also I can see the arrowheads lighting up.
When examining in diffuse lighting, I cannot see the typical black arrowheads shown in H&As, but I see the silvery arrowheads lighting up- is this normal?
How can you tell if your diamond has good brilliance/contrast or fire?
Do you think this diamond is a keeper based on the idealscope description??? (I bought this diamond from Bluenile and have 3 weeks to decide!)
I will try and post images of what I got later today. ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!
