Hello forum!

I posted specification of a diamond a few weeks back and it has arrived! Everyone who has seen it said it is very sparkly. I have taken the diamond to the jewellers in London and they cannot see anything wrong with it.

I managed to find a jeweller with an idealscope! We had a look at the diamond and there was the perfect diamond arrowheads in black with a background of red, I do not remember seeing any light leakage (whiteness). Unfortunately I could not get a good photo of this to post.

I have ordered the idealscope and aset scope so that I can post images in the future.

I tried doing some spotlighting on the diamond, and it seems to flash bold and pinpoints fire and appear very glittery. Also I can see the arrowheads lighting up.

When examining in diffuse lighting, I cannot see the typical black arrowheads shown in H&As, but I see the silvery arrowheads lighting up- is this normal?

How can you tell if your diamond has good brilliance/contrast or fire?

Do you think this diamond is a keeper based on the idealscope description??? (I bought this diamond from Bluenile and have 3 weeks to decide!)

I will try and post images of what I got later today. ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED!! ;)

Maybe, but the next logical step is to get an IS image, then op can rest easy. [emoji106]

well he said he did already have a look at it with an is with the jeweler and it sounds like it looked good^^
he just needs to upload em here for us to check but i guess if the jeweler like the is and op did as well its most likely a keeper since the numbers look good too :)

Thank you Johannes and Titan!

The jeweller said he rarely use his idealscope. (The jewellers in London do not know what an idealscope was!)

Here are some images of the diamond!
