Is this band overpowering? Should I stick with my band with smaller stones?

Instead of the spacer can I see it with the old band in the middle ?

I say no...actually I like both the bands with your ering. Usually, I tend to go with the less is more with an ering but your ering is
pretty big and looks like it can pull off the 11 pointers so I say go for it!

Absolutely not! The larger band looks perfect with your e-ring. In fact, I think it looks better than the smaller band :)

Thanks, @Niel. It’s nighttime here now so I’ll take a pic of both diamond bands tomorrow in the daylight. The bigger band is actually older. I’ve been using it as a right hand ring but haven’t used it since I got my 3 stone OEC that DK made as my right hand ring.

I’m old school and prefer a bolder look so I think the wider band is perfect. Your beautiful ering can certainly handle it!! Gorgeous set!!

Thanks, @tyty333. I feel the same way about less is more. I used to wear the bigger band on my right hand but has been sitting in my jewelry box since I got my 3 stone OEC DK made. I’ll try wearing it for a few days and see how it feels :). Thank you.

Thanks, @Sprinkles&Stones. I’ll try it for a few days and see how I feel about it:). I’m flip flopping between less is more and more is more hahaha. I actually used to wear that band with my smaller e-ring and didn’t think twice about it until I realize it feels like it’s overwhelming my e-ring at the time. Then it went on my right hand until I got my 3 stone OEC DK made. Ever since, it hasn’t gotten any wear.

They are both beautiful looks. Your E-ring looks much larger with the smaller band, but the set as a whole is beautiful and blingy with the bigger band. I’d just alternate.

Thanks so much, @Slick1. Will give the more blingy look a try :).

Thanks, @Bonfire. I feel that way too and that’s the reason I got the smaller band way back before my last upgrade and kept using it even with my last upgrade last year. But I’ve been tempted to wear it with the bigger band lately and actually debating if I should get yet another band with stones that’s in between the smaller and bigger band so it’s more proportional- to me. Does that make sense for me to get yet another band?
Thank you.

Me, I like the slimmer one but you need two, one for each side.
The larger diamond band is gorgeous but I just feel it is competing with your stunning solitair.

I like it with the larger stones and the stacker in the middle. I generally pick different sized bands and widths....so I prefer the larger band.

That’s my dilemma. I like the more bling look but not so much that it overpowers my solitaire. Ughh. As I said to @Bonfire, many I should get another band with stones that are in between these 2 bands . Thanks so much for your input.

Thanks, @HS4S_2. Love your ring, btw.

Well if you have a 3 carat oec on the other hand you do not gave to worry about not having a big enough solitaire! I vote bigger band. It probably looks more proportionate overall with all your jewelry.

Both are nice but I like the larger band, can’t really go wrong either way. With the bigger one, just make sure you don’t have girdles from the band rubbing the prongs on your solitaire.

Oh how I wish it is a 3 carat OEC, @oncrutchesrightnow hahaha. It’s a 3 stone OEC with only a total of 1.2 carats.

@caolsen - thanks. I definitely hand to wear a spacer with the bigger band. Thank you.

@Niel- very foggy today. Don’t know if we will see the sun today for a picture.

I usually always choose the thinner band but in this case I think they both work! Lucky you to have that option!

They both work, that's a happy outcome, now all you have to do is see how you feel each morning and bling up!
