This video is part of one of three exhibits that were pulled from the Guggenheim museum in NY.

SNIP:
"As the dog video became the focus of scrutiny last week, the museum came to its defense.

"Reflecting the artistic and political context of its time and place, Dogs That Cannot Touch Each Other is an intentionally challenging and provocative artwork that seeks to examine and critique systems of power and control," the Guggenheim said in a statement Thursday. "We recognize that the work may be upsetting. The curators of the exhibition hope that viewers will consider why the artists produced it and what they may be saying about the social conditions of globalization and the complex nature of the world we share."

I think they should replace the dogs with liberals and conservatives on the Internet who want to lose weight.

yes....
but what is it?:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

This is not art, it is not educational and does not belong in a museum. I think society needs to stop considering gawking at animals whether it be in an exhibit at a museum or at a zoo as entertainment.

Reportedly, it is art.
Read the link to the story I added.

It DOES bring to mind Cheeto and Rocket Man.

"As an arts institution committed to presenting a multiplicity of voices, we are dismayed that we must withhold works of art. Freedom of expression has always been and will remain a paramount value of the Guggenheim."

The dogs just complained to me that they felt tired; it all seemed a bit compulsory and they lacked freedom to express themselves. Humans can be nasty gits.

Yes it is animal abuse and cruelty.

100% yes it is. Wtf, this makes me so angry.

Most definitely YES, I saw this last week. Sick people :x2

Absolutely yes! :angryfire: The dogs lack the reasoning ability to stop when they are tired, and will face injury and keep on running. They may even die. It's cruel.

WTF? this is horrible. it is NOT art.

This.

Couldn't watch it. I'm disgusted. This is not "art". This is abuse.

I don't think it's right to do this to animals. People are jerks.:nono:

Having said that, I don't understand how this is considered art in the first place. I guess I'm just not refined enough to appreciate fine art. :eh:

If this were done by scientists instead of artists, it would not be permitted.
