Hello everyone!

I need a dummy check. I''ve been doing tons of research for a solitaire and like a nice, sparkling blue color. The pics look nice, but does this look like a nice stone for ~$2400? My thinking is going decent on cut, clarity and mid fluorescence. Any better suggestions? Thanks!

Everything seems in order.

Personally I would seek a higher colour lower clarity - or go to strong or very strong blue fluoro in that color

The diamond itself is very nice. Gary raises a good consideration though. Do you know if you''re color sensitive or not?

If not, you found your stone! If you don''t know, you might want to visit some stores that sell well cut (i.e. branded, like HOF) stones and have a look to be sure.

Will do and thanks for the advice!

You''re welcome.

One more word of advice, look at the stones near a window where there is natural light. The fancy jewelers lighting can hide many things.

In premise (theory), I'd agree with Garry. I'd rather go I/SI1 or H/SI2 provided they are eyeclean.

Sometimes, you have to work with what stock is available at the time. I'd never expressly look for a VS stone, but one stone I bought happened to be a VS2. It was everything else I wanted, and it wasn't much more for the VS2.

Where you're considering Garry's suggestion, I do see a couple of stone that might fit ......

Also, Wink has a nice .72, H, SI1 stone (www.winkjones.com)
